The Usual Suspect Set to Re-Re-Imagine “Battlestar Galactica”

13 August 2009 by Pasha 556 views No Comment

cylonThe Hollywood Reporter has stated Bryan Singer, the mastermind of the first two X-Men films,  has been drafted by Universal to re-imagine yet another genre project.  The project in question is a Battlestar Galactica feature film, which will have no ties to the television show of the same name that wrapped its run on Syfy earlier this year.

Singer made a name for himself by directing The Usual Suspect in 1994.  He’s since been associated with comic book franchises such as X-Men and Superman.

And, yes, I’m sure another updating of Battlestar is just what everyone wanted this decade.
